After submitting this form, a Plant Operator will contact you to schedule your tour date and time. Please note that chlorine gas is used on-site as part of the water treatment process. Our staff is fully trained and will follow all safety protocols, including evacuation procedures, if necessary, to ensure the safety of all visitors.

🚧 Clifton Water District Tour Guidelines

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all visitors, please review the following important information before your tour:

  • Tour Availability:
    While we strive to honor all scheduled tours, unforeseen circumstances such as weather, leaks, or construction may require us to cancel or reschedule. If this occurs, we will notify you as soon as possible.
  • Group Size:
    Groups larger than 10 participants will be divided into smaller groups for safety and tour quality.
  • Accessibility:
    Some areas of the tour are only accessible by stairs. These sections are optional and can be skipped if needed.
  • Noise Levels:
    Certain parts of the facility may have loud operational noise. Please be prepared for elevated sound levels.
  • Footwear Requirement:
    Closed-toe shoes are required. Acceptable footwear includes boots, tennis shoes, or sneakers. Sandals, flip-flops, and high heels are not permitted.
  • Age Requirement:
    For safety reasons, we kindly ask that children under the age of 10 not attend the tour.
  • Safety Protocol:
    Please do not touch any switches, buttons, or equipment during the tour.
